I need metal or some form to make a trap but I can't seem to find it. Not in the wilderness or in the markets. Any help? I want to see what these darts can do.

If you want to get metal for yourself you're going to have to get Novice Artisan and then buy some bulk metal off of the bazaar. Then you can make yourself a mineral survey device, and then you can start surveying and sampling for metals. This is nice to do while sitting in a camp as it will add to your camp xp due to the action/mind healing. Or you could just buy bulk metals off the bazaar and not mess with it... But I went ahead and got artisan as I had a ton of crafting xp going to waste from trap making. Besides, Exo-Protien Wafers are pretty neat.
