Ok, i have a slight dilemma here. I'm a Wookiee scout/marksman...going to head towards Creature Handling in the future. Anyhow, I'm on Wanderhome starting at Coronet City and i've worked my big furry butt off getting Explore 2, Traps 2, and Survival 2 at this point so far. Well, last night i finally got enuff xp to qualify for Hunt 2, but haven't got trained in it yet. I've read many posts lately of how maskscent is useless at Explore 2...but works much better at Explore 3.

So i need some advice from anyone out there. Should i go ahead and train in Hunt 2 or wait and save my 5000+ xp and use it towards the 15000 xp needed for Explore 3?? If i wait till i get Explore 3, will using maskscent then boost my scout xp much quicker so that i dont have to harvest creatures forever to gain Hunt 2 again? What exactly do you gain in bonuses for learning Hunt 2 since you don't get any new abilities?

Oh, one more question..once i gain explore 3 and start using maskscent..could anyone tell me what/where is a good place to use it on Corellia around Coronet City?

Save it to get the Exploration column first...once you get Exploraton 3 go to Yavin. At Yavin...pound on that Maskscent button and you will get all the scout XP you ever wanted for your hunting.

Yes, most definitly agree here. Head for Lok once you get Exploration III

Put all you items in the bank. Check into a Clone facility. Make a /hotkey for maskscent. Then streak through wilds of Lok . . . watch the exp pour in.

I was terribly skeptical when reading the first few posts about this. But having now done it myself, I can safely say it was worth my time and 2 deaths.

One more question..As mentioned before, everyone says go to Lok, even though its dangerous..which i don't mind a bit of danger. However, if i do go there ..how much creds. does it cost to use the Clone facility there? And should i insure all my items..if so how much creds. are we talking here? I don't have much and trying to do any destroy/delivery missions last night got me zero credits...there was no payoff. Figured it had to be a temporary bug and hopefully will be working fine today.

Since there are neither banks nor cloning facilities on LOK... I am assuming that you would strip down and clone up somewhere else first... right?

There is a cloning facility on Lok. That was the first thing I did when I got there and was happy I did after dying a couple times. When you cross the bridge just go to the right outside of the main walls and there is a small building with a cloning terminal in the back room.

As to whether to get Explore 3 or Hunt 2, that is a no-brainer. I had 5k exp saved up and some scout tried to convince me to get Hunt 2 before Explore 3. I am glad I didn't listen to him since it took me about 20 minutes in Lok to get the extra 5k for Hunting 2.
