Thread: Alittle secret about Sony!
Here is alittle something I've noticed about the way Sony rolls out expansions/new games in general.
In the beginning, they make the rewards and the taskfor questing/crafting/looting very easy. Uber items rain from the sky, mob spawns are plentiful, craft resources are easy to obtain.
Then when they have met their market penetration/ quota for new game or exspansion they begin to nerf. How do we respond, we whine and complain but we keep on playing.
To sum up, if you are getting great expierence or loot from something in this game right now there is a good chance it will be nerfed in some way.
We call it a nerf, Sony calls it game balance. I don't think earning 40k experience in a few short hours is what they had in mind.
But keep working those skills, they may not be worthwhile now but next patch new items may be added and you will be glad you put the effort in. Case in point, tradeskills in Everquest. Mad crazy plat was made after that patch. SWG will be be no different.

Actually, here's the reality. We all need there to be higher-level artisans and other skillsets in the game. That's how the player-run economy works. NPCs are NOT creating weapons...so yes, you will likely see increased XP and money initially. That's a necessary ramp-up so that there are at least SOME people creating high-level items.
I'm sure XP and money will limit eventually. That's really not a problem for me.
