How the heck do I use this little gem?

Surveying isn't a Scout skill. It's an artisan skill. And you need a surveying device to use it.

Scouts can forage, maskscent and harvest corpse. Those are our only special skills.

But, I'm not an artisan, I've never been an artisan. How is it I havesurveying and samplingas capabilities?

The root professions I have trained in are

Brawler/ Marksman/ Scout/ Entertainer
