Here's my strategy for camping: I got basic medical skills. I leave a large city on a well traveled path (north out of Coronet along the river is good). I try to find a spot as near the city as possible within easy sight of some creature spawns. I setup camp and basicly /shout out "I have a camp and offer free healing!" Cheesey but effective. The butt kickers come along and take out a few critters and often stay in my camp for the healing. If I get two visitors that need a little healing, I can disband and reset camps every fifteen minutes for max XP. It's still boring, but better than just sitting there in front of the fire watching the clock tick...

I took two destroy missions that went in the same direction. Do the first one, then make a camp and sit in it for a while to heal wounds up. Go to the other mission, finish that, make another camp. Might not be a bad idea to take up the artisan skill. I started as one just to have the stuff. Get a mineral, chemical, gas, etc. surveying tool. At least you can get some inorganics while you heal and you can sell them on the bazaar or use them yourself. You won't become a millionaire doing that but it's something to pass the time.

Ok the only skill I am lagging in to get Master Scout is Wilderness Survival so I decide to just spend an hour today camping to max exp per camp.

Well the First campI started I stayed in for 20min and go 620 exp. After 20 mins I broke camp and then proceeded to make another. I stayed in the new camp for 20 mins again and broke camp....420exp??? Ok that was wierd. So I create another camp and sit in it 20 mins (60min of useless downtime now) and then break camp....320 exp!!!! Ok what is going on here?

Is this a stealth nerf to prevent Macro campers?

I don't macro and continually have totake turns creating camps when I am out hunting with my 2 Scout buddies so the only way for me to get exp is to just take the time out and camp.....now I get diminishing returns if I camp several times in a row?

I didn't complain until now but this is a real pain in the butt. I have maxed everything in Scout except Wilderness Survival (which is still at level 2) and can barely get enough exp to move my skill in a normal game day. Now with this It is even more difficult to get Wilderness Survival exp. It is pretty pathetic when I am stuck on one skill tree from progressing.

My camps were varying from 420-600 exp. It's a known bug and will be fixed with that big patch coming in a few weeks.
