We need a FAQ folder I keep seeing the same questions over and over and over and over. We also need some rules like people who say "rinse, repeat" should be flamed J/K. Mask scent should be explainto new scouts or I saw, HowdoI camp? Organised and simplified. All the basics covered for noob easy access. These are things that could save us all a ton of time sorting thru the crap and getting tothe good informational stuff.

Agreed. Too many of the same newbie questions going up every day.

Personally, I'd like to respond to all those obvious noob questions with RTFM (READ THE F****N MANUAL).

So many people just load the game and jump right in without even opening the manual. Or, they don't check the manual when something comes up that they don't understand to see if there is anything about it there.

In beta, I spent probably close to an hour just reading the entire online manual from the beta board so I had some idea of how stuff was done.

I know reading the manual takes away the time you could use to play, and the game is fun and exciting and all you want to do is play it, but doesn't stumbling upon a problem you don't know how to solve also take away from play time too? Just skim the contents if nothing else, you might find a section in there that could contain the answers you are looking for. And, you have to stop playing to come here and post a question.

The reason I wrote that newbie guide was to try to answer most of those questions.

I'm going to bump it again so they read it before they post.

it would have been nice if the game manual came with an index. i doubt a faq wouldd work because if they are unwilling to rtfm then they will probably ignore the faq and get straight to the question asking.
