I recently got Survival III and now Mask Scent is giving out experience everytime I use it. I get about 90 Scouting exp. to about 120 Scouting exp. everytime I walk by any creature with maskscent on. It happens about every 20 seconds or so until it runs out. What is the deal? Does it suddenly give out exp because of Survival III or was there something stealthly added in the latest patch to give exp out with Mask Scent.

Suddenly? No. It always has, if your skill was high enough to use it effectively. Similar to combat, if your skill is high enough to kill something, you gain XP. If your foraging skill is high enough to successfully forage, you get XP. That is the way the game works. =)

It's a function of your camoflague bonus as compared to the level of the creature you are masking your scent against. So if you're around creatures about your level, you'll get tons of XP. If you're an explore II running around Dathomir, you're Rancor poodu.
