If you hover your mouse over the Master Scout skill box, it says that Master Scouts have a chance to forage up to 3 items in a single attempt. I've been a master scout for a week now and have foraged countless times since I am also a CH and use the foraged goods to feed my pet, and I have NEVER gotten more then one item in any attempt. I have noticed that my success seem to have gone up as I worked up the skills but I have to get more then one item per harvest. Is that part of the Master Scout broken?

I got a few of those 'Items discarded...' message while foraging. I actually got one item plust that message.. I'm beginning to wonder, what the hell could I forage thats so big it won't fit in the 30+ units free in my pack?? A treasure chest?

I've had that message a few times as well. I think it must be bugged and needs to be fixed if that's what the message is essentially saying. Maybe something in the coding is messed up to where you can't add more then one item to your inventory at a time. Tho, I also got that message long before I got master scout as well.

i am not quite a master scout and today i successfully foraged and got two sijjo sewi mushrooms in the attempt. it is probably just a random chance for multiplee items and i imagine it would always be two or three of the same item if you do find more than onne on an attempt. i was wondering if you could forage successfully more than once in the same spot? what if your first attempt is unsuccessful? can you keep foraging in the same spot after that and get a success? i usually only forage while in camp so if anyone can verify that they successfully foraged multiple times i will continue to try otherwise i would rather not waste the time. thank you.

Thanks for this info. I'll pass it along to the Devs, as i hadn't been using forage enough to notice this myself.

As master scout I forage 3 items at one time. Happened 3 times in about 15 or so forages tonight

i get 3 things as a ranger

I have foraged mutilpul items from the same spot as a matter of fact I forage in the same spot untill the message comes up saying that I can find no more item in this location I was camping last night and pulled up 4-6 items from one spot and Im not master scout yet though theses items were all from the same spot they were also from different attempts

i actually found that if you get this message and still forage eventually you will find more items. i did some experimenting today and will post my findings in another thread. i also discovered that if you receive the 'storage items were discarded because your inventory is full' message you can eat some of your inventory then it will actually place newly foraged items in your inventory. itried this by eating one item and then i would find one more item and then receive the message again until i got rid of one more item. this worked twice for me and i plan to do more experimentation in the future as i am working on my survival4. keep up the good posts and good hunting.
