How do you manage to actually forage? Everytime I stop, if I sit down and get up or stop running I get the message 'you cannot forage while running', when I'm not running!
So, what do I have to do to be able to forage?

I've had this happen on a couple of occasions. Just stand still for about 10 seconds and then either click your forage button or type the command ('/forage')

Yeah, this is annoying, but you can just do:
/stand
/forage
You may have to stand multiple times though...

When I stand and forage I get the same message (using macros). So it means I have to type the text instead? I don't mind that much but I miss the point of having to type stuff when there are macros for it

A macro works. Just make sure you are standing and are able to forage by pressing /forage. If you succeed use macro. If you recieve a "you are running message", wait a moment, try again and then activate your macro.
/forage
/pause 12
/forage
etc.

All I did was put forage in the tool bar and spam the hell out of it. Works everytime.
P.S. Spam= Hit the button a lot of times

Basically you cant Forage after just about any type of movement. If youve been swimming, crawling, standing, running, walking, sitting, whatever. I find the best thing to do is simply wait a few, maybe 3, seconds and its fine. Not that much of a hassle.
