as the name suggests i think there should be a new profession off the scout base that would allow u to track animal. this would require master scout but would be useful in finding certain animals...as opposed to running around half lost in hopes of finding them. the tracker tree could be broken up into the following 4 branches...flying creatures, reptiles, land based animals (mammal like creatures), and insects. as a novice make it so u can only track very very weak animals. the higher up u go in the tree the tougher creatures u could track...example: at tier 1 you could track relatively weak creatures like rills but at lvl 2 or 3 perhaps dune lizards and at master rancors or kimos or something. there could be a tool much like a survey tool...that would break down the animals by group, and list the animals found on that planet within your tracking level. so instead of surveying for rakeris aluminum, you'd survey for _________ (insert generic creature name). it would then make a spawn point to the closest occurance of that animal. as a creature tamer i'd like to be able to find certain animals quickly and hunting groups would certainly like to find high lvl mobs quicker. heck you could probably charge some ppl to help them find particular creatures. maybe make it once you get within 30m of what u are tracking you get xp or once u attack or tame said creatures u get xp. just an idea ty if u read it all.

Yeah I agree. Although I think it could very well be integerated into the ranger bioscience line. Rather than split it on creature types you could simply do it by challenge level. Level one allows you to track creatures with a CL of 20, level 2 CL 30 level 3 cl 40 level 4 cl 60 or something like that.

I think something like this should go in to the ranger branch since it is lacking in content.
