I hadn't experienced this before last night. I had been taking carrion spat missions, because of the high quality bone harvests. Last night, the message at harvest said: the harvest was low because the critter was skinny, lol. I got one bone. However, when I harvested the meat, it was a regular harvest. And, no, it didn't depend on the animal, it depended on the chosen harvest.

Nite,

You'll get this sometimes. I was out hunting with one of my guildies, Jacookie and Cyrus of OWNED and we took down a Veermok that got in the way of our Fambaa hunt. I harvested him and he only gave one bone as he was "skinny and sick looking" if I remember the spam correctly. We got another one and I pulled 53 hide off him. Just depends upon the creature.

My experience is different. Right now, for me, the carrion spats are only giving one skinny bone of low quality. Perhaps this is like the resources, in that that the resources change occasionally or periodically.

Its a bug I have seen before and /bugged in game. Since its a rare bug it is not likely to get looked at by the devs anytime soon. The bug is this: sometimes certian harvested resouces get "stuck". For me, it was correlian bone, for you it was correlian avian bone. I have seen others report the same problem with hides as well. When it happened to me I was flabbergasted and even had to buy bone from the bazaar to make adhesive mesh traps with! I fixed it by going to Naboo and harvesting Naboo bone off one critter then returning to Correlia where my bone harvests returned to normal.

does this looks like a potential resource shift issue?

I looked around on this board and could not find anything on this.

Today I was in Mos Entha on Tatooine looking for quests and came across an NPC named Hedon Istee. What is different about him is he has no blue 'i' over his name. When I spoke with him I got a quest about somebody following him, you get a blue WP about 800m out of town and you have to kill a Gammorian Guard from Jabbas Palace, you return to him and you get a 30 cred reward. Then he says something about a bounty hunter is now after him because he had supposedly stolen a sacred scroll. You go again about 800m out of town and kill this bounty hunter(who was very easy, and I am not fighter). You return and get 30 creds again.

Here is where it gets interesting.

Hedon the confesses that he did take the sacred scroll and wants you to return it to its rightful owners. He gives you a sacred scroll. You take the scroll almost to the same location as the bounty hunter was and there are these droid like spider creatures(which I had never seen before). And when you give the scroll back you are told "You have begun your path of enlightenment, we will no longer intervene , but observe" not verbatim but close....

And now I returned to Hedon Istee, he thanks me for returning the scroll and says he will drink some Corellian Brandy in my name.

Now he no longer gives any quests, and just says maybe we will meet again someday.

Observances:

1. He has no blue i over his name

2. Once you do his 3 quests he no longer gives you anymore, even if you log off and back on.

3. The rewards are always 30 Creds.

His loc in Mos Entha is 1391, 3196

I completed that quest as well a couple ofdays ago. Was really interesting to see the B'oehm (sp) monks outside of Jabbas Palace. I have some screen shots of it, but i dont think it has anything to do with the FS. I do think it hints that there are other rewards to doing these types of missions. If there are 100 badges to be had... at some point running these missions will produce a few of them.

I love everyone that posts "I've done almost every mission in the game"....maybe you're forgeting that 2/3 of the missions didn't work until last Wednesday? Or maybe that there are probably hundreds of POI missions? (The smugglers/bounty hunter puzzle [which in fact DOES give you a badge], the twi'lek female that gives you the encoded disk and gets jacked bystorm troopers, etc...) I've read your post, but the thing is you've only done the "non titled NPCs" and only those that you've found in town. I'm going to make a completely uneducated guess and say you've done about 10-15% of the missions in this game. again, this is completely uneducated and is just a response to the 50 or so people I've seen say "I've done almost every mission in the game".

Done the quest.

If you listened to the NPC giving you the missions, he talks about the religious types (which he stole the scroll from) considering enlightenment the removal of ones brain.

Not saying it isn't FS related in the long run, but their response has to do with the mini-storyline.

A guy named Hedonist related to becoming FS? Clearly that would just be wrong.

Those are justthe ones I've tracked, kept notes onand posted, I've done many more than what's listed. If you say 10-15%, that's fine, but at this point I'm finding it very difficult to find any at all I haven't done (or currently working on, some of them I have to drag a few people along on)

The ones I tracked were "non titled NPCs". I saw no use to track the thousands of (profession) ones I've done. I'd guess in about two weeks I will have done them all, or at least above 90%. They're some that aren't near cities/etc and are a matter of finding them. (Like Huff)
