Thread: Hunting Query
I wanted to ask the hunters in the crowd whether or not they've noticed that some critters, even newbie mobs, look a little different? I've noticed that although I have low-detail on for distant targets, some Rills I encountered last night were brown in the distance, while the others were your standard smudge of white.
The real reason I want to know is, when I took out some of these rills, for no other reason than curiosity, I discovered to my delight, that the "brown" rills gave up bones with an overall quality of 999. That's right, highest quality bone (all the other stats were good, too), off of a newb mob.
I don't know exactly what occurred, and I haven't tested my experience with other rills yet (no time left after I milked that lair to go find some more), but I was quite surprised. Is this by design?
Thanks in advance for any help you can send our way.
I hadn't noticed this - but I sure as heck will keep an eye out for it tonight.
I've revamped my hide/bone selling scale, with any bone or hide less than 800 quality going at 3 credits per item, and anything above 800 going at 5 credits, so I definitely like being able to sell the top quality stuff. I may even increase my rates for that!
Thanks for the heads up.
