OK, as i stated I am a noob.....my question is when should i upgrade my armor and to what?...I dont really understand the armor descriptions....How do I determine if the armor im looking at is better than what i have on....sorry for the dumb question but I cant determine the differences between aromors...weapons i get, armor i dont...thanks again!

This isn't exactly a Scout question, so you may find a better answer over in the armor forums.

Don't bother with bone armor. It's useless against creatures. It's only useful against blasters, and you don't see any gnorts running around with pistols in their paws.

Mabari Armorweave is the best low level armor for a Scout. Get that if you are dead set on wearing armor.

Chitin is a good middle armor.

As a noob, Ubese and Padded are going to be way out of your price range.

So stick with Mabari if you've ABSOLUTELY got to have armor.

Otherwise, don't even bother with it. The encumbrances on your HAM bars aren't worth the little protection you'll get. Better to dress with some style than wear a silver skirt that may or may not keep you alive for that extra second.
