grrr...
I've found several threads on the topic, but I guess I'm an idiot. What "polymer" works in Adhesive Traps?? Inert Petrochemical doesnt work, or at least one version of it. Has ANYone mad these traps? and if so, which "polymer" did you use? Not to be rude, but I don't need a s"surveying" or "shopping the bazaar" lesson, as other threads have turned into. Just want a simple answer, please.

There are two different subtypes of inert petrochemicals - polymers and lubricating oils. You need to be sure you have the polymer subtype. You can check this by looking at the description. I hope this helps.

Dash,
Don't fret. There's some artisan out there drooling all over himself thinking about a stack of 1k petrochem.

A good tip for finding the right resource for the job without having to actually examine it.
Click on its tab in the survey device (small orange square next to its name), it should then hide all of the minerals/chemicals that fit under that category, click the tab again and you will see exactly what you can sample.

As an alternative use for the 1k petrochem, you can doleout a bit (50-100 each time) to medics. They need inorganics to make the stims they heal you with, and don't have the necessary skills to find them...at least not with just medic. Many will be more than happy to accept inorganics as a tip.
