What do Creature Knowledge and Creature Harvesting do? I am at level III and it seems that my harvesting is the same as it was for novice. Also knowledge does not seem to be different. Can someone explain these. Thanks.

Raider,

The bonus to creature harvesting increases the number of bone and hide that you can take off of the same animal. For example, when I was at Hunting III of the Scout tree, I was only able to harvest 3 hide from a fat and healthy Gnort. I'm currently at Hunting II of the Ranger tree, and I can harvest 6 hide from a fat and healthy Gnort.

As for knowledge, what it gives you is a number of other things under the "examination" line when you examine a creature with the radial dial. As you progress higher, you'll be able to determine exactly what kind of hide and bone you'll get, how much, whether the creature is vicious, aggressive, death blows its victims, etc. - all of which is important.

Does it ever tell you if the creature is social?

Thanks for the good explanations. One more question. Is there a way to view the HAM of a enemy or creature by using examine? The only thing i see like that is condition. And if that is possible what level does that come with?

Raider,

All you need to do is click on the creature- the HAM should appear in your targeting box in the upper right hand side of the screen.

Yeah i know that, but i always here about people saying so an so creature has 3500 Health and i am just wondering how they know this, and if it is a scout skill. As far as i know just clicking on the creature show the bars visually, but you don't really see any numbers.

Hover the pointer over the HAM bars in the upper right hand of the screen when you have the mob targeted.

If you have the creature targetted already, you can also press ` (button above the TAB) and the radial menu will open up. Then press the number associated with Examine. This works on everything.
