Thread: survival EXP the only one you cant buy using faction points.
this really upset me, as if sitting there doing squat was basnt bad enough. i personally never really had the opportunities to really use my camps. I skilled up master marksman, master pistoleer, have enough xp to get bh pistol 3, and everything (including the app points) for master scout. i have tons of faction points and after sitting at my computer for 35 minutes at a clip for umpteen hours to get camp 4, i decide to go off and buy some EXP.
can get medical, combat, any weapon, unarmed but no camp..
cmon thats just not right
>>>You can exchange faction points for XP at the appropriate recruiter they are exchanged at a 1:1 ratio.
How do you fid out what faction recruiters exchange what XP?
Sometimes I think there's more to knwo about this game than I'll ever learn...
Jmatt,
It's just trial and error. You visit one and see what he offers. I do not believe that they are all the same, but I may be wrong.
Personally, faction is too precious to be buying XP with. The few thousand faction points that I've earned were hardfought, and I don't want to waste them on XP I should be gettnig doing my job anyway.

I must be one of the few people who didn't think the Survival branch was all that bad. My "Trick," which wasn't a trick honestly, was to use a camp between every mission. You must need healing, wounds especially. Then, you must sit at a camp for at least 5 minutes. 5 minutes, by yourself, with wounds and healing (it may help to forage while in there so that action is constantly healing) will net you around 250 XP. If you have a friend with you, about 300. Stay for 10 minutes in the camp, and you will get around 500 XP. 15 Minutes was the maximum amount of time I would spend in a camp, and that would net me anywhere from 500-850 XP depending on whether or not I was by myself, or with a friend.
Basically, I would get two destroy missions. Kill one lair, then set up a camp for 5 minutes. Kill the other lair, set up another camp for 5 minutes. Go get two more missions.
If you get a good sized group going, you can get experience faster. I had a group of just four people going once. We had a doctor and a dancer, both of which performed their duties in camp (healing wounds). I got tons of experience that day. I made Survivalist in no time flat, and it really wasn't a grind.
no i believe all faction recruiters teach same skills.
and i personally dont care, id rather have camp4 then sergeant lt whatever...
either way it should still be an option
Xaed,
You're right. I checked this last night but forgot to correct myself here.
