This has probaly been discussed, but can some one tell me how I can get the two scout skills for CH up easy? I was using langlatches, but as you probaly know, the bug on them was fixed. Your post here would be awsome, thanx!

My suggestion is to get hunting to rank1 or 2 so you can harvest most creatures fight, and then work the rest of the way up to explore IV. At explore IV head to Loki or Yavin IV, and use maskscent the rest of the way. It's a tactic that may not be as goodas it was before the nerf, but it is certainly much quicker than harvesting.

Why is it that the CHs always want to blow through the Scout tree? You guys drive me nuts. We've got a great profession here. Take time out of you fantasizing about your three Gurrecks and enjoy being a Scout!

I wanted CH in a bad way and grinded it out til I got there but I NEVER used an exploit/cheat to get there. Every point of scouting xp I got was earned from harvesting and maskscent from the critters around Mos Espa/Tatooine. It only took 5 days but in those 5 days, I invested 35.5 hours. Since then, I haven't really grinded after anything. I'm just having fun with my pets. I might have done a little grinding to get to CM III so I could have 2 pets out but that's it. Basically, once I got Novice CH, I just wanted to play with the baby critters and enjoy the pets I got and the fun of that first successful tame. I think everyone wants to get to CH before the nerf so they can uberize themselves for a little bit. I personally just enjoy having two pets out and the xp comes in faster anyway with two pets out at the same time. No, I don't have any tank pets. I use two Cu Pa's and one of them isn't even full grown yet.

just wondering what an exploit is i've heard of it and i think i've seen it used against rebels in anchorhead

I find it kinda funny, because 85% percent of the people who are scouts only do it so they can become CH's or Bounty Hunters. I happen to love pure scouting, which is why I'm planning on Ranger.

Ditto! And I'm almost to Master Ranger (**edit** survival XP). Ya'll can expect another guide from me when I get there.

I know I'm hard on the CHs - don't get offended. CHs are something I love to grumble about, but I love it when we've got someone with a Gurreck in my hunting group.
