Of course I don't think any creature I currently met can teleport... but it sure seems like it.

I was outside of Kadarra trying to reach my mission point when I decided to stop and take a look around. Then after about a minute, a red dot appeared out of nowhere right next to me. Next thing I know I hear a roar and my health meters are tumbling. As I turn, there is a Plains Hunter (Big Cat) staring me down.

That in itself was pretty weird, but what happened next was even more odd and quite ammusing. As strong as this big cat was, he was EXTREMELY slow... so I'm sure he didn't just run up to me.

I literally ran a round a building in the area with him following me, letting off many headshots and overcharge shots. He was literally crawling after me the whole time, with me standing there shooting him until he was directly in front of me then I would run another 64m and continue....it took me at least 40 minutes to put him down. Made me laugh as people would run by, seeing me circling the building with this cat slowly following me like a merry-go-round.

Any one experience this random appearing and slow speedwith the Plains Hunter or some other creature? I would assume these catlike creatures would be highly nimble in their movements.

This was apparently a bug with the speed of all kinds of catlike creatures, including Jaxes. It was supposedly fixed last Wednesday. When did your encounter occur?

As for the teleport, that was probably lag. I've suddenely been teleported in the middle of a Singing Mountain Clan tupperware party before. The amount of time it took them to slay me could be measured in picoseconds.

Actually lag makes sense... probably didn't notice since I was not moving for about a minute or so. This took place about 2-3 days ago.
