Thread: How far can you toss a trap?

Really? Do you have any other skills that might be improving the range?
I've never been able to throw from farther than 40m. For me, at 41m it starts combat but fails to throw the trap.

Hmmm... Could be you get a farther distance the higher your trapping skill.
Guess I've never bothered to try anything farther than 40m, because it starts the combat even if it doesn't work

All,
I believe that the furthest out is 50 meters. I have thrown from that far before. If possible, I'll try and get some official confirmation on this.

My strength is at 200 (possibly 300 I can't remember), and I still get 50m. I'm zabrak btw

Perhpas the strength statistic plays a part. I have Trapping IV and can only throw 45m. Just me guess.

that's a good point about strenght playing a part. Before I migrated some points away from strength (previously 800, now 750) I do recall that I could throw a trap 50m, now 48-49m.
