was looking for some tactics on the subject. right now survival 4 is about the only thing holding me back from BH. i need like 17k more exp so basically the only way to make this fast is to alt tab out to something else coming back every now and then to make sure i dont get kicked for being afk for a long time....or is there anything else that can make this go by faster?

Camping in groups is great, if you manage to group with people who are willing to stop and rest in camp every once in a while. The problem with camping in groups, in my experience, are that most people in groups are unwilling, or want to leave as soon as they're healed up. I've wasted many camps for one minute or two of camping time. Sure, I probably got more because there were several of us, but it didn't amount to much exp for so short a stay.

What I finally did, when grinding my lvl 3 and 4 Survival, was to find a place that I was able to setup camp, and go read, watch TV, or something else for 15-30 minutes. Then just set up camp, and found something to do while waiting. As much as I hated to grind AFK, it was the only way to get through it. In the end, it was the first of the scout trees that I managed to max out completely. I hardly ever camp now, unless I'm needing to heal up in the field, or am with a group that's just been thrashed.
