Thread: Two questions if you dont mind...
I am a Creature Handler who only went up Explore and Hunting, then after reconsidering my character I decided to go ahead and master scout.
1) How exactly does XP work with camps? Is it based on how long the camp is up, how much the camp heals you, or how much you (or someone else) heals you (or others)? Or a combination of the three?
2) How are no-build zones defined? I know you have to be 1,000 meters out of town and not close to a building, but Deeja Peak there will be nothing around me, nothing at all (not even mob camps) and I get the no-build zone message for miles and miles. I finally got to a point where I autorun while spamming my F12 key (with the tent in the F12 hotbar slot) until a camp poofs, then run back to it and pull a pet. But sometimes I have to run for 5 - 10 minutes before I can pull a camp, with NOTHING around. Does terrain have something to do with it?
Anyways, any answers would be appreciated, thanks.
XP from camps is based on many different variables. Every 5 minutes, the camp will auto-heal 10 wounds on all of your stats. So, if you have wounds, you get big XP boosts every 5 minutes. Regenerating HAM bars also boosts XP over time, so perform some action. Having Entertainers/Medics heal in your camp gives you big boosts. Finally, the more people you have in your camp, the more XP you get when you disband. Experience does cap for each style of tent. I believe Delta has a detailed explaination in his Scout guide, which can be found on these scout boards.
1. yes the camp exp works like you say and if you heal people you get more exp.
2.the build-zones as of right now are messed up but they will fix that problem soon.
I was wondering do you need any scout exp to get to novice creature handler?
