no sweat I didnt see the post...going to read it now.....thanks for all your work

Scouting Missions have been in the game since day 1... they are available from NPCs which is the reason why most people have never seen them... start talking to characters instead of terminals and you'll get some. The missions are: go scout this waypoint and report back to me what you saw.

This may be true, but they're hard to find IMO. Very few of the NPCs that I've tried to converse with ever have anything to say to me. Obviously I'm talking to the wrong NPCs, but it isn't like I know which ones are willing to talk to me either.

When is this big patch coming.

The Explore mission terminalsare currently on the Test Center but don't seem to be ready for prime time just yet. They call for either Hunting Missions (where you have to kill a set number of a specific type of animal but don't have a lair to destroy) and Recon missions (where you have to travel to a specific location and sneak in quite close to the waypoint without agroing the aggressive humanoids patrolling the area).

The Hunting missions work as advertised but you have to be careful as they ask for veryspecific types. For example they'll ask you to kill Female Grassland Slice Hounds so regular Grassland Slice Hounds don't count (all though killing the Baby versions count). There also seems to be a bug wheresomemissionswill create a way point leading to 0 0 coordinates.

The huntingmissions seem to call for 45 creatures to be killed (some say 15 but I haven't been able to complete them until 45 creatures have been killed). The rewards can be quite high but will probably be cut back before they make it to the live servers.

I always do one last round of the boards after I stop playing.

Here's my normal schedule, which I think is kinda amusing, so I'll post it:

6:45 AM - wake up

7:30 AM - leave for work

8:30AM - In the office, "working" or checking the boards.

5:30/6 PM - Leave the office

6:15 PM - get home

6:30 PM - Load the game/feed the cat

1:30 AM -Run through the boards one last time

2:00 AM - Bedtime

Thank god for 7-11 coffee! And the fact that my girlfriend is out of town for another week and a half.
