Thread: Camping XP Cap? Multiple Traps?
Is there a cap for camping XP after you get the Multiperson Camp, and if so, what is it? For the basic camp kit, i could never get more than 360 Survival points, so I would assume that was the cap.
For traps, I'm aware of the fact that you can throw multiple traps on a single creature in order to get trapping experience faster. But traps that poison the creature only seem to work once for me, even though successive traps hit (apparently the poison only works initially, and the extra traps add no trapping experience since the poison has no effect). Is this the way it always works? Should I just not throw multiple poison traps?
Thanks

- Yes that is the cap for the Basic Camp. Higher camps have higher caps, though I don't know the actual values off hand. ![]()

- Its the same with the Stun trap. If you throw a second Stun before the first one one has worn off, you will get a message about the creature not being affected. ![]()
- I don't think Poison is cumulative, so you are probably best just waiting for the effect to wear off, and then throwing another. ![]()
Guys,
I've found that the caps can sometimes be broken if you have a group of people. I believe that the standard caps that we've been talking about -320 for basic, 627 for multiperson, are based off of one person in the camp. You'll get more if you have more people - but not that much more.

Basic camps do indeed cap at 360, A multi-person camp max's at 627 after that I'm not 100% sure (bad me).
As for traps, you should throw one of each different variety that you can make, assuming there is time, if you are still fighting and one wears off you can then throw another of that type.
