Thanks Delta.

Wasn't trying to step on your toes. It just seems that everyone has trouble with this one thing.

By the way the speeders are all polished up. Please ignore the Rebel Graffiti on the back of that one though.

I finished off the final 3500 survival experience while hunting fambaas with a group from my PA. We were about a dozen strong, and after every third or so fight, I'd whip out a camp and everyone would heal. Max exp within a few minutes, and everyone's refreshed and ready to go.

Solo - camping exp comes very very slow. Grouped -doesn't feel like a grind at all.

Agreed, grouping does ease the pain somewhat. I was soloing most of the time and this method just seemed to work for me.

another good way to shorten the camp cost time is putting your camp on a commonly used route (like just outside one city and heading towards another nearby city -- like Bestine and Anchorhead), and give out a shout everytime a blue dot appears on the scope. Some will stop by, others won't. Offer to teach people skills, make them buffs, or trade stuff with them.. or just let them talk about their latest mission.

One time, another camper and I set up "rival" camps and had a third person run between them... then while the 3rd was in my camp, i ran to the other camp and stole one of his chairs.. he responded by snagging one of mine. good fun!

First off, camp early and often. Try role playing your character. Think about it, in real life would you really hunt all day and all night? Would you around in the dark? I know our characters don't need sleep, but play it that way.

When the sun goes down, make a camp. While in camp, craft, sample, read a book or put a good movie on tv to watch while at your keyboard. Leave your camp up long enough to achieve full xp (approx. 15-30 minutes depending on camp), disband the camp and make another. Repeat until the sun comes up.

By using this method and camping during the day to heal from fighting, I was able to max survival 4 long before finishing the other boxes in scout. This works well if you don't feel the need to rush through the game.

Enjoy lafe and take your time, you will have more fun.

Ilia,

Good, short (as opposed to mine) guide on camping.

And that return button hits us all once in a while.
