Fellow Scouts.

I'm confused about something. Can you drop lower skills in a tree after you have mastered and retain the other skills. For example right now in marksman I am 2,4,0,4 which means I am a pistol specialist. I would like to get higher in pistol so I would have to mater marksman to get there right? Assuming that is right, can I then advance in the upper tree of pistol and lose the other skills to allow me enough points to become Master Ranger?

I'm sorry if this isn't to clear, but I am really confused abut this.

You do not need Master Marksman to advance into the Pistoleer tree. If you have Pistol 4, you can begin work on Novice Pistoleer now (requires 125,000 pistol xp for Novice Pistoleer).

If my math is correct, you can get Master Scout, Master Ranger, Novice Marksman, all four pistol boxes in Marksman and still have 81 skill points to use in the Pistoleer tree.

You cannot surrender any skill that is a pre-requisite for a skill you already possess. For example, you couldn't surrender Pistol Specialist once you became a Novice Pistoleer. You could, however, get rid of your two levels in Rifle.

Eggar. Now I really feel stupid. I havent even tried to see if I could access that elite tree. I just assumed that you had to master the entire marksman tree before that would open up. I bet I"ve got 200,000 xp built up by now. LOL
