Thread: The most annoying thing is...
Use this thread to post funny, but slightly annoying situations that you've run into while playing the game. The one rule is that they can't be class balance whines or complaints about SOE.
1. I used to train my pets to group with me when I said thewords "Group with me." Made sense to me. Unfortunately I had to change it because too often I would get a tell afterwards from someone nearby saying, "Huh? Are you talking to me?"
2. When I need to train a pistoleer skill, I'll shout something along the lines of "anyone training in Intermediate Pistol Marksmanship?" I almost always get an immediate invitefrom someone close by. Once we've grouped they just sit there for a bit, and finally say something along the lines of "are you sure you have the XP for it?" That's when I have to tell them it's a Pistoleer skill, not a marksmanship skill.This happens so often it's almost not funny.
3. Fat, bald, little men dancing in their skivies in the Cantina. Need I say more?
4. The Mabari leggings "butt cape." WTH is it for anyway?
5. My wife's Bioengineer starts griping people out for killing the critters shes trying to sample DNA from in the newbie area. Its the funniest thing I've ever seen. She doesn't think so though.
6. My Greater Sludge Cat keeps breathing down my neck like a perverted prank caller.
7. Despite the fact that my pet Ronto (ex-pet) had like 5500 health, and hit for 200, he would run from everything. The big coward.
Anyone got any good ones? Remember, try not to use the word "Nerf."

Here's my list
1.) Every time I'm out camping for Survival XP (Just got frontiering 4 last night, go me! Now 20k to Master Ranger in wayfaring), I'll pop open my fieldbase camp. It never fails - at least two or three people are lured by it, and I get the standard "Whoa, nice camp. How'd you make it?"
2.) Everytime Daria and I are grouped together, we invariably get someone telling us to "Get a room". Hee hee.
3.) I laugh a little everytime I see a CH misspell his "attack" phrase (idiot should have it macroed anyway), which gives his opponent just enough time to cap his ass before the pet attacks in PvP. This is priceless.
4.) I LOVE the NPCs who talk about the new "online game" that just came out that they love to play, but then they bitch about the "lag time from the servers on Coruscant". 
5.) "You cannot burst run while incapacitated"
6.) I think the bug that won't let you say a phrase that starts with "He" is hilarious. I've had to rearrange my whole speaking style around this one.

Haha, some good ones there Delta. I haven't run across one of those NPCs yet, but that's hilarious.
I have another one.
1. When I type /sit to sit down, I sometimes type too fast and type /sti instead. This does the "so and so thanks you stink" emote. Unfortunately,I usually have someone targeted when I do this. Then I have to back-pedal..."sorry dude, you don't really stink."
The first timeI got knocked down by someone, I wasfrantically pushing every button and every command thatI could think of (except hitting my"stand" macro). After "arrghhh!"-ing at the screen for the minute or so it took for the imp to kill me, my husband came in.
"What happened?"
"I got knocked down and there was nothing I could do! None of my commands worked! I was stuck!"
"What does knock down do?"
"Well, it layed me flat on the floor and I couldn't do anything. I was in the med center and the medics kept healing me but nothing worked."
"Did you try standing?"
"Uhhh..."
Now I live in perpetual fear that, the next time I get knocked down, I will forget what to do and panic again.
I hate it when a hand to hand combat NPC incaps me then runs 30m away, only to turn around and walk ever so slowly back and deathblow me with 2 seconds left till I can get up.
2) MonCal in Bone Helmets. MonCal in swoop helmets. MonCal in headwraps. Is it just me, or do MonCal look goofy in every headgear in the game?
Someone nearby saying they need scout training. I then proceed to group with them and somene else nearly ALWAYS beats me to it. I'll never make Master at this rate...
Sorry to post twice, but this annoys me more than it should:
20 people in a cantina congregating in one small area of the cantina. What's the deal? Why don't entertainers spread out? It would be cool to have some dancers in back, a lone instrument playing in a side room, etc. It's the unrealistic look of the whole scene that bugs me.
