Darth,
Good thinking - start working on the AXP now before you hit master and definitely need it. ![]()

Yeah, that last 200 AXP for master scout was REALLY tough. I felt bad about running through town /shouting about how I was willing to train but I couldn't flush them out any other way... Maybe I wasn't thinking creatively enough. Anyway, yes, I am starting to think ahead this time
Chris
Perhaps I spend more time in-town than other rangers. I also make sure that the highest possible title is visible to others. Before I hit Master Scout (working on that darned camping XP), I had "Hunter" as my title and I had people /telling me about every other day for training. Now that I am a Ranger (with the "Novice Ranger" title), I find people /telling me atleast once a day. I also get people /telling me about getting them resources ("Got any hide on you?") and it's nice to unload my really crappy hides from 1-2 creds/per.

Hmm. Why is the training xp so hard to come by? I'm willing to train anyone (in this respect, I'm like an entertainer) and right now, I've got something like 1200 AXP (I already have Master Scout and I'm working towards Master Ranger).

If you figure out the secret, please let me in on it because I certainly dont' have any easy time finding trainees. I've been running around with "Novice Ranger" over my head since a achieved the title and I only get /tells seeking training help once in a great while. Maybe it our server. I've searched Naritus for Master Ranger, Novice Ranger, and many of the between titles (Wayfairer, etc...) and I only find Gustav no a regular basis. I'm in the wild as much as the cities, dividing my time between Naboo, Rori, and Corellia and there just aren't that many Ranger or Ranger candidates running around that I'm able to find...

"TRAINING ALL SCOUT AND MARKSMAN SKILLS FOR FREE! SEND /TELL!"
Gawd, I am SO sick ofseeing this shouted 24/7 in every town.
You have a hard time finding trainees cause theseare the basicskills that everyone has all ready.
EXACTLY. Do you get bitter when someone gets trained by someone else because they beat you to the punch? I sure do. Be quick. When someone asks for training don't waste time blah blah blahing run right up to the person and /invite them

Darth,
Get rid of the Novice Ranger title, first of all. Leave your Master Scout title on. More people will come looking for Scouting skills than Ranger at this point in the game, and apparently most people haven't figured out that you need to be a Master Scout to get to Novice Ranger.
I left Master Scout up until I made Master Ranger, and was constantly getting /tells (and not all of them because of being the Scoutfather, or the wedding.) ![]()

/Me slaps myself in the forehead accompanied by a DOH!/
Yeah, I guess I should be marketing myself better. It didn't occur to me that people would see "Ranger" and not think "And therefore scout too!" I'll downgrade my title and see if that helps tonight.
Chris, who promises not to /shout for training if he can at all help it
