Ok..this is my second character I am taking through the Scout skills and it really is annoying how the harvested hides/bones/meat wont stack. they will be from the same creatures and type, but mainly if i have logged out or taken a shuttle they will no longer pile ontop of eachother but will begin a new pile. this takes up a lot of inventory space. Can we please get this fixed. Also..I have seen a couple times on the loading screen how it says multiple scouts can harvest different resources from a single creature...this is not true. I have never been in agroup where more than one scout has been able to harvest anything from a creature. Can we get these things fixed and atleast get a response on if they are designed to be like that.

Can't say anything about stacking, because in my mind hides and bones have been stacking like they should.

"Also..I have seen a couple times on the loading screen how it says multiple scouts can harvest different resources from a single creature...this is not true."

I might be wrong, but I'm 99% surethis is in Test Center and not yet in Live servers.

"it really is annoying how the harvested hides/bones/meat wont stack."

- This is a new one to me. I've never had an issue with resources not stacking (as long as the Name of the Resource is the same of course).

- Have you tried dropping them on each other manually? Or puttingthem in a bag other than your inventory?

"I have seen a couple times on the loading screen how it says multiple scouts can harvest different resources from a single creature"

- I have read thatLoading textas well. That was the original intention, but it got pulled during beta as it was not working properly.

- Ileria is correct. A new version of multi-harvesting is being tested on Test Center right now:

1) Grouped scouts can harvest ANY resource off any creature killed by the group. Scout A could harvest Hide, and Scout B could harvest Hide, if they wanted

2) Each group harvest however will be 60% of the regular amount pulled

- There is an issue where if you are the ONLY Scout in the group, you still get the 60% penalty (which I find rather irritating). I have bugged it, but I doubt they will resolve the issue before it is pushed to Live.

There can be different hides/bones/meats with the same name, depending on which planet you found it on. For example, insect meat on Naboo can't be stacked with insect meat from Tat

- Exactly. Its not the Display name that matters, but the Name of the resource on the Examine window (the bizarre barely pronouncable name).

its not only that, it has to be exactly the same otherwise it wont stack.

Every single attribute of the hide, bones or meat has to be exactly the same.

I too find it a poroblem, something i have generally come to accept though, is this, you might try it as well.

To get large amout of bones hides etc.. just harvest that particualr type that day, this way they will always generally stack. The next day harvest something else. Ive started to do this cuase i am about to start makling camps & traps in a factory and to do so needs huges amouts of hides, anything you get that is less that a decent size i would just about drop it or sell it for real cheap (generally no one will but it) but this again is why our harvesting resources should cost more as well, but that is another story!!

It's also worth noting that organic resources DO "resource shift". That's right... every time the minerals on a server change, the hides you get do too. Check it out next time a shift happens.
