ok im appologise if im being silly here but i read the new patch notes and noticed the crafting xp?

should we have been getting crafting xp before? i know mask scent has been broke and i havent seen any xp from that (fingers crossed thats ok now) but i have never seen xp when i craft anything

is this just me or is it a new crafting xp thing

You have always gotten xp for crafting camps and traps. This xp went to the artisan skill tree. WIth this patch the Xp will go towards scouting.

i dont have the artisan skills so thats why i never saw any xp i guess

i just didnt see any message either (you gain XXX crafting xp ect)

that makes sense though why would it tell me i was gaining xp for a skill i dont have

Another silly question:

Those Xp from crafting Traps en camps will go both on survival xp or making traps let us gain trapping xp while making camp let us gain survival xp?

Both camps and traps count towards survival Xp.

I haven't see any XP for making new traps and camps, I made a few when I was on earlier.

That 1000 Crafting XP is still there, am I going to have to get rid of that in order to get my Survivial XP?

As far as I can tell, you won't get a spam saying you got the XP but it will be there. And you won't have to get rid of any XP to use it.

Do a test - check your XP amount before making a trap or camp, and then after. See if it goes up.

If not, /bug it.

The only thing I've tested it out on is the Multiperson camp. You get 50 XP but no spam, it just rolls over like the old crafting XP did. Nice little bonus I must say, makes camping that much more productive. Now I can get around 600 for my Multiperson plus all the XP for crafting while I'm sitting around in the middle of nowhere.
