I have my exp up to exp 3 and am considering exp 4. I want to maximize my character for pvp and I realize up to and including exp 3 is critical for running up hills.

Exp 4 gives a bonus to camoflauge and a boost to burst run. Does it do anything at all for running uphill?

I have hunting 1 and am considering going up that tree as well. Does the + to-hit mod help enough to be worth spending the points on it? Does hunting 3 and 4 give you anything that may benefit a pvp character?

You'll get a bit of an additional terrain modifier for Explore 4, so it's worth going for.

Hunting is just for hunting creatures. If you want a pure PvP character, I would suggest maxing out Explore, ignoring hunting, maxing out pistol and pistoleer.
