I am not a ranger, and i barley have any scout. But I totally disagree with SWGs current idea's of a camps functions. 1st and foremost, this "call anything anywhere" without a camp is crap. Its a patch put in for whiners in my humble opinion. Sure it was a pain to call a camp to bring forth a mount or pet,.but all u had to do was call a little mini camp to do that. Heck, I would even carry around a generic tool, just incase i was out of camps. Then of course i would have to find some hide and bone, but that added depth to the game. Course u needed atleast a novice scout to do this...Which brings forth another issue, u just gave people 15 more points to play with, now everyone can drop novice scout and not have any remorce on doing it. Heck why dont u just give us all "J boots (an EQ thing) and we can drop terain negotiation as well.

All in all the no camp calling is for children. Its to easy to call anything now. Heck whats the point of any camp.... ? Just to heal a little wound? Gimmie a break! Atleast make the large camps able to heal BF.. give the poor Rangers some sort of function, minus finding Krayts.

This opinion comes from a non master ranger and non master scout. Therefore i have nothing to gain by the un-nerf. Well, actually i would gain some sort of challenge to the game. I hope this post will bring out some true gamers, instead of these point n shoot type ppl we are dealing with.

BTW, something i do not do, but can be done, is carry a generic house deed around with you. It is alot better than ANY camp, just cost a few more credits.

you must not be having fun like i am with this new camp thing....i hate it all the same, but i find amusement in playing jack in the box.....

here is what you do....pull out a camp near a group of people who are just about to finish a lair......wait for them to try to come to your camp to call their vehicles.....break down the tent......burst run away and laugh maniaclly as they curse at you because they're too lazy to sit there for 45 freaking seconds!!!

As I have said before, what's done is done and we're not going to get it reversed. It's best to not dwell on it and try and get our camps improved rather than complain about nerfs under the bridge.

Hakai..HAH ! thats pretty good... though, i couldnt do it myself unless I had previously been done wrong, but its still pretty funny.

I know not to dwell on things, heck they changed stuff to classes that I do play and I havent complains publicly.I just think it is nutswhat they have done to the camps. Not only does it hurtyour class (Rangers and or Scouts) in the necesity of usingcamps <spelling> , I also think it hurts an income of yours.I was always buyingstacks of camps. I just see more negartives than positives, only peepsthat gain from this are the ones to lazy to build/buy a camp or those who refuse to spend 15 skill points.

Like i said, i normally dont complain, but i feel this is just a really raw deal for you guys. I really hope there is a chance of it getting changed.

An idea that I have thought of, was change it to the way it was, but let there be a droid out there that would allow you to call pets and or mounts. you would have to have the droid follow you everywhere, but thats the price u pay for being able to call something anywhere. Just an opinion..

I wish you Rangers/scouts much luck with your goals.

you do recall that having to make a camp to call a pet/droid was the original nerf.

so it's still a nerf from the original, as you have to wait 15 seconds to call a pet/droid, but not a nerf in the sense you guys are considering it to be.

The bad thing about the time limit is it ruins the effect when I yell "<crittername> I choose you!" and then have to wait before my pet shows up.

Hakai, you been reading my posts too long, my evil influence is rubbing off...about time.

I do the camp thing quite often. If you are grouped with me, pile in and do whatever. If not, oh well... sucks to be you I guess.
