How do you know what to charge for resources? Currently I am gathering Dath carnivore meat and I have no idea what to charge for it. I have heard 40 cpu's but don't know how that person came to that number. Is there a website or some kind of coin flipping action thatgives the pricing for resources? If not, then how do you know how much to sell it for?

There is not a set way to say what your meat is worth. Depends on the stats of the meat, and then what the artisans on your server are willing to pay. Check your trade forums, and listen to barkers at spaceports. Ask other scouts.

90% of my sales I get from barkers and/or the trade forum. I don't do contracts.

The best thing to do is to check the trade forums for announcements on what is 'hot' at the moment. In game, Chefs/Docs/Armorsmiths will usually advertise. Get to know some of each and see what they have to say.

By using the trade forums, those sites, and asking around, it should not be too tough.
