... do with these bloody camps?
Okay, I know how to grind suvival xp. I'm not asking about that. I've read the threads, I've had a chuckle about your macros.
But... Say I get to master ranger and have these Ub3r camp kits...
When exactly will I ever use 'em? What are they FOR??? Okay, I get the eye candy part of it. Last time I was ranger, I had fun pulling sweet lookin' camps. But that was when you had to have 'em to call bikes/pets/pizza delivery places.
Heal in the wild? Fine. But a med bot can do that too. Or I could just /meditate for a few minutes and get the same effect.
Am I right in thinking youcan't heal battle fatigue in them?
Am I wrong to say that survival is a painful and dull grind in what is otherwise quite the fun profession?

No, you can't heal BF in a camp, altho an entertainer can heal the mind bar.
They do heal wounds, without the expense of a droid.
If you think about it, each profession has the "PITA" tree (pain in the azz). Crafting, surveying, combat. Good news is all the basic professions have them, better news is that only a few professions require the a basic profession mastery. Bad news, Ranger does and has it's own line of camping.
Oh, pull the med droid and pop a camp and you do heal faster. Just the thing when you are massive black bars just coming off the corvette.

and keep in mind not everyone is a TKA so they won't always have access to mediate.

lol Fodder. To answer the camp question, I havea toon on starsider going for master rifleman and depending on how much medic I keep in the end, most or all of Ranger. Right now I have sp's to play with though so I also have novice entertainer. So, I get done hunting and want a break I pop a camp and then besides the natural healing I use my medic skill to heal my wounds. Then my little rodian toon does a really bad Disco imitation and gets rid of all his mind wounds. Only thing left is BF. Then I pop my bike out so I don't have to wait 15 seconds, disband camp, and head on my way.

Tk was amusing to mess around with..I like my swordsman though. I also hate the scout survival grind, but i guess its worth it for the new harvest bonus of master ranger

so i take it you only want ranger for the harvest bonus, and will complain about everything else?

Everything else like what? All I use ranger for is harvesting, I've never had the need for a camp....ever

What the hell do ranger skills have to do with shuttles? Are you just posting now so you can seem cool infront of all the other guys by trying to shut down my posts? If you are, you're really bad at it.
All I said was that I don't use ranger for anything but the hunting, I never use anything else on the ranger tree.

well, the obvious answer would be to just get 0/0/4/0 ranger like the other whiney FOTM people, and leave master for the people who WANT to be a master ranger.
