I started out as Scout with the hopes of eventually getting my bounty hunter status. My question is I have been running around killing Rills and Gorgs gaining XP, but what I really need is credits I have 50 credits to my name and I was trying to figure out how to make money early on as a scout. I took a mission but my guy is to weak and my gun is to crappy to accomplish it. I need a better weapon, which goes back to the money issue.

I'm a noob so don't take my words as gospel. But run Deliver Missions from city to city using a shuttle. For example I'm on Naboo and I run missions from Theed to Kareen(spelling??) 2 there and 2 back. I'm making some pretty good credits I guess. Enough for me to buy armor and weapons. When I get bored with that, I just go shoot some stuff. Hope this helps.

Keep on killing stuff and get better and eventually start doing easy destroy missions. They pay a ton more and will pay for a good weapon in no time.

Really three ways to do it, and all three can be combined:

1. Destroy missions (take what you can handle!). Take two in the same general area. Take out all the critters surrounding the lair (make sure you havest their corpses - see #3), then take a couple shots on the lair. As more critters spawn, take them out too (and harvest, harvest, harvest!). Once the lair's done, take your XP & reward and move to the next lair. Repeat. Then go back to town with all your organic resources, and repeat.


2. Deliver missions. Take two, again in the same general area (from one city to another works really well). Along the way, make sure to take out as many creatures as you can, and harvest their bones/hides/meat. When you get to the city, take two more missions, back to the original city. Repeat.


3. Simple harvesting. Go out hunting, wander around outside of town and pick off what critters you can, making sure to harvest their resources. Once you have > 100 of any particular resource, head back to town and sell it at the bazaar.

My other recommendation is to pick up artisan skills, and survey/sample for inorganic resources while you are in camp. This gives you an additional income stream.
