I haven't fished since beta, I might pull out the pole tonight to check if it's changed.
Fishing pays survival Exp. Not quite as boring as sitting in a camp for 45 minutes.

If I can manage it, I'll pitch a tent in a swampy section, and be right on the edge of some water. it's win-win, baby, YEEEAAAAAH!

I'm sorry to report that, as of my latest three catches, no experience of any kind is being accrued through this activity, but then, this is not the activity of a powergamer in any event...I caught blackfish man, and ray!
