What is the going rate for Hides and Bone?

I'm a creature handler so instead of running to get missions everytime, I wander the far reaches Killing and training little babys.
I'm having a bit of trouble keeping money in my pockets, and since I don't do many missions, I'm not gaining much.
I can collect hundreds of Bone and Hide in just few hours, and was thinking of pawning that stuff off.

Is there like a normal price? or does quality matter much?
Any tips, and I would be very thankful.

Anywhere from 5-10 creds per piece on Theed. I have 100 Avian Bone for 650 and it hasn't sold in 2 days.

Look at the quality of your hide and bone. The scale is from 1 to 1000 (1000 being the best). Good artisins will look at these values before they buy. Basically I go by the overall quality to avoid giving me a headache.

Avian Bone from corellia should never be sold for less than 10credits per unit as it always has an overall quality of 973.

Scaley hide from large creatures like Bull Sharnuffs should never sell less than 10credits per unit as most its properties are very high.

Anything with an overall quality of around 500 should be sold for between 5 and 7 credits per unit.

Anything less than 300 overall quality I consider grinding material and use it myself, however most artisins will pay between 1 and 3 credits per unit.

Remember as Scouts and Rangers our hide and bone is the main source of income for us, dont destroy the economy by giving it away. Make the artisins charge more for their wares. The PA's are making lots of money and they can certainly afford it.

Woolly Hide is not as common, so, it's possible to charge about 50% more for it, based on quality. Really high quality stuff should go for at least 10. It might take a few days, but you'll get a buyer. Also, try the artisan forum, or the forum for your server for more immediate help finding buyers.

The basic rule I follow is to look at the average value of each statistic. If the average comes out to be something like 400, I'll charge 4 credits per unit. However, if the overall quality is a lot higher than the average value, I'll mark it up. It's not a fast and hard rule, but my stuff seems to sell.

i consistently manage to sell my hides/bones for about 10 each. i sold 188 avian bone for 1880 just earlier today, so trust me, people will buy it. put it in as an instant transaction, and eventually, people WILL buy it when they need it. also, try to put it in the bazaar in as large an amount as possible, because they are attracted to large numbers. if they see a chance to get 188 bone in one go, they are going to get that before they buy 9 sets of 20.

How do quality scores fit into items such as tailor clothes? I guess I could see if affecting items with stats, but tailored clothing seems to have no stats?

5-10 credits per unit and you won't find many buyers. I sell my hides and bones for 3.5 credits per unit.

You could always do destroy missions. Some on Naboo go for 3000 credits and can be done quite easily.
