Thread: Armor for a Scout (Anything good yet?)

Hi All,


I posted this question about 2.5 weeks ago and the answer was a qualified "no". Now that the armorsmiths are getting MUCH better, I want to ask the question again.


Are there any scouts wearing armor out there and finding the penalities worth the benefits? Chitin is WAY to heavy in my opinion, but what about the more advanced armors? I've also heard the the personal shield generators are pretty weak right now.


Any input?

I have a mabari chest piece and then some misc bone pieces. I don't know what they are doing for or against me. The key for me has been my laser carbine. Most times things never get near enough to touch me!
