I have yet to be able to find a space that I can build my camp. Regardsless of distance from cities, mob buildings, etc. I receive the 'this is a no build zone' msg.

I am presently on Bloodfin, on Corellia and having this issue. Haven't been off the planet to try other planets, but have spoken with other scouts there having this same issue.

Has the distance near a city been changed since beta? This a corellia only issue? Anyone else having this problem?

I've made camps okay on Starsider, on Naboo. Perhaps they've changed the range on some particular cities? How far out are you going?

I've gotten the same message also. You need to go to a flat area and build your camp there.

In BETA you had to be 1000m out side the city-limits.
After you leave a city and see the 'You have left [city_name] then go another 1000m to build your camp.
Also you can't build near other buildings.

Well, farthest I have gone on Corellia is about 3000-3500 meters, and I still get the message.

I was able to walk all the way to the coastline, and I still got the message. I haven't had a chance to get off planet yet, so I wasn't sure if it was a Corellia thing or more widespread.

Sounds /bug-worthy then. Drat.

I'm on Corellia on Gorath and can usually find a place to build a camp. There are places near the city or other buildings and rough terrain where I can't but have made many camps. Quailify for Survival II now as a matter of fact.

I'm on Corellia and had no problems as long as I was far enough from a city. Heck, it even let me build one ona steep mountain(when the camp was made, it temporarily made level ground, then when disbanded went back to steep mountain..weird).

I'm on Tatooine where there is plenty of long stretches of land as long as you are well out side city limits and on flat land you should be fine.
