Thread: Artisan Assembly Required?

I'm just wondering, as an aspiring Creature Handler and Ranger, whether or not I need to train any Artisan skills to help in crafting traps. Does the + to Artisan Assembly help at all, or am I better off dumping it all together? I trained up to Engineering IV, but I haven't really seen much of a difference.

Also, I saw someone asking about Mask Scent giving scouting xp. I've never seen this happen and I'm always detected by greens and blues anyway. How do you go about getting xp with this skill? I'm at Exploration III right now, making my way up before I start training Hunting.

Any ideas or advice would be surely appreciated.

To the second part, to get scouting exp from /maskscent, you have to successfully use the skill around an aggressive creature. Non-aggressives won't help. That's all.
