shouldnt the scout come with a gereral crafting tool if he needs it to build things....

i started as a marksman..... added scout...... now i have added artisain to try and get one, but all i have now is the plans in my datapad on how to build one.... funny thing is, you need one to build one....

do you have to buy one? i am so confused...

any help would be much appriciated

You do need a crafting kit. However,since you didnt start as an artisan or a scout, you will need to buy one.

You only get starting gear when you start your character, not when you add a new skill.

Check the bazaar for the crafting tool...most of these you can get for 50 creds or less....You can probably get 'em for less if you /shout for them due to Artisans getting some exp when you use them...
