Thread: Exploration and Hunting exp problems
It's not a problem. You had 1000 scouting exp. It costs 1000 scouting exp. to train explore 1 or hunting 1. When you train one, you use 1000 scouting exp and now you have 0 scouting exp. You'll need 1000 more to get the other.
I'm making up the numbers... I can't remember the exp. needed, but you should get the idea.
Since Hunting and Explore tree both take Scouting xp its a good idea to cap out your xp then train both at once. Right now XP caps at double the amount required to get the skill, which works out great for hunting/explore. Get 2k xp your capped go train both ![]()
However, after you've raised them both by a level or two, you'll find that it's taking considerably longer to get to the exp cap. So you might as well return to the city to train up and get the benefit of at least one of the skills.

Could someone explain to me why this is a good idea? I'm not saying it's not. I just don't understand what this means.
If a skill took 1000 to raise and I had 1100 skill, why wouldn't I want to train in one of them to get the added benefit while I worked on the other 900 needed?
