I plan on making a Scout and eventually becoming a Ranger. If I am reading the strat guide it seems that in order to make a ranger one must know the entire scout line...all specs/skills. And to become a master ranger one must then know the entire ranger spec/skill lines. This can not be posible can it?

Also, I read that even after the above is done you will still have enough points to train high in weapon spec...???

Please someone enlighten me as to how points are placed from a scout to master ranger(whatever a master ranger is).

Thx

greetings Ranger in training

as to your questions

Yes you need the full scout line and master it

yes you can train the full scout line AND the full ranger line and still have points

you can also train other things as well, Myself I am training 2handed sword and proceeding to become a master swordsman with little knowledge in medical skills

So in order to become a ranger one must master all Exploration, Trapping, Hunting, Survival skills along with all the ranger spec skills Wayfaring, Frontiering, Bioscience & Advance Trapping, and still have points left over for other skills like rifle?

That seems like a ton of skills! I thought other classes could only master 2 specs and have few points left over for someting(s) else? Seems strange that the ranger is allowed to master all skill and other classes can not...

Thx

You'll have enough points to master Scout, Ranger, and one other profession. I'm planning on mastering Scout, Ranger, and Creature Handler. I'll still have enough points to specialize in Carbine.

That is an example of how I planned my character out with free creation utility at my site. Why don;t you try it out and you will see exactly how to build your character to the way you want him to be at end-game.

Too funny, I intend to master CH, Scout, and Ranger as well as specialize in carbine. I guess great (scouting) minds think alike, huh?

In order to BECOME a ranger, you must learn all 4 scout trees and Master Scout. to MASTER ranger, you then need to also complete out all 4 ranger trees (and buy Master Ranger afterwar that).

Master Rangers are pretty hefty in the skills, yeah, but it's worth it.

Also, they arenowhere near as tough as things like Master Bounty Hunter. That one soaks up roughly 95% of all available skill points to get to Master sicne you have to be a Master Scout and MAster Marksman before even becomeing a Bounty Hutner...
