Alright I have a few question about trap creation...



First off, Can you experiment on traps like artisans can do on their creations?



Secondly, All I can ever alter is experimental durability, how do you alter the second experimental option?



Thirdly, Can non-scouts use traps that a scout makes?



Fourth, Does foraging ever give you anything besides melons, jars of stuff, and worms?



Fifth, Can scouts use the survey ability(of artisans) to find resourcesif an artisan creates a surveyor for him/her?



Sixth, Can multiple scouts of like master level or the ranger profession harvest from the same creature or is this currently bugged where only one scout can?



Seventh, What is your subjective opinion on the largest creature a player can take with trap 4 and expert pistol?



Eighth, Is this suppose to be scouting or hunting?



Ninth, What is the best planet to enjoy a good hunt on and not really grind?



Tenth and lastly, Is there going to be a nerf to the creature handler profession because that is going to be a very powerful warrior beyond what many thought it would be?

1. No, not as far as I have been able to..


2. I don't think you can...


3. Sigh, no.


4. Food and bait is it (the most worthless skill in the game has gotta be foraging).


5. Scouts cannot survey without the survey skill.


6. I believe only one scout per creature though I haven't specifically tried. I don't think this is a bug however.


7. Um... what's a giant carrion spat con..? level 9 aggro or so? Though the trap is difficult as hell to hit. It really all depends on the speed of the creature as well because you can also kite them.


8. What is supposed to be scouting or hunting? The class?The skill?


9. Corellia is fun... I find that murra give me some of the best xp to quality hide ratio using traps (which means you are using hide and bones to get hide). Vrelt and durni and paralope will drop 8-12 hides each and only take two shots from a DL44 pistol at expert level (not even pistol spec).


10. Uh... dunno. I guess it depends really on the pets available to the creature handler. I mean you are using up valuable skill points for a creature to do damage for you, although a Rifle spec. with a good melee creature (Rancor anyone?) can do some significant damage in short order. They already "nerfed" the mask scent ability although I think that it was actually quite reasonable. What I dislike is that when you first get the skill it is pretty much worthless and only useful once you reach level 4 hunting (although level 3 can net some exp).

1. Don't think so.


2. Don't know if you can.


3. Yes, but they won't be very good with them.


4. At the moment it just gives you that kind of stuff.


5. Scouts don't have any skill in surveying.


6. I don't think they can.


7. I have no clue, depens I suppose.

9. There really isn't such a planet that I know of, Naboo and Tatooine are fun at lower levels.


10. I really hope so.
