I have a stupid question. What do I need and where can I get the ploymer I need to make level IV traps ?

Polymer is a class of resource. Inert Perochemical seems to be the most common Polymer. I believe you will find them in the Inorganic Chemical category in the bazaar terminal.

Yes, polymer shows on the bazaar as Inert Petrochemical. You should be aware, though, that lubricating oil also shows as Inert Petrochemical. If you either examine the item, or hover the cursor over the Inert Petrochemical word, you'll be able to see whether it is oil or polymer.
