Ok, I'm a 3/3/4/3 scout, 1/4/0/3 marksman (about 3/4 of the way to novice pistoleer). I've been on Naboo for a couple of weeks now but I'm about to finish my business there. Where's the best place for me to hunt at my skill level? I'm looking for cash more than exp right now. I do pretty well off mission terminals or off avian meat from kaduus or peko peko's but not great. The birds are hard to find quickly in decent numbers, and the mission terminals bore me to tears. Any suggestions? I've got a little business to take care of on Corellia and Tatooine so I'll be dropping by those planets at least briefly. Are either of them decent for a novice scout?

Any mission out of Rori don't forget you can also make money selling any meat to be's

A few hours on Rori with a crap bone/hide shift, between nightspiders/hermit spiders/ flewts and cappers You can get 2-3k of insect meat, not to mention levilsquall's, squalls and ikopi's. 4-5k herb 1k wild meat.

WHY meat, and any old meat.

BE's , Just like armorsmiths/taliors need hides, BE's Need a TON OF meat. Now for the amount of time it takes to kill things. You can Price things 4-6cr/unit , they are paying for quanities not quality.

Now here is the deal with this, 30k of meat Is NOTHING. 3-4 days of milking lairs. Shooting the one creature in the middle of no where, killing noob creatures around town.

I've found that rori is the perfect planet for that.
Why,
The planet IS DEAD, I've spent weeks on rori and maybe ran across 15-20 people At the rebel base, I've never seen more than 5-7 in town EVER. restuss or narmle.
It cost 600 to fly back to theed
Mid Lvl Creatures, Wooly all over the place, Vir vir's , gualama's, torton's
Bone everywhere, (other than rasps, and koi tak's/spiders too)
Plenty of Fimilar creatures coming from naboo as my starter planet.

missions are close 2k at the most, Lots of aggros to tangle with and did I mention its DEAD

Big Money? You need to get a group together, and head out to one of the harder planets. It helps to have an experienced combat type character in your party, like a Commando. It also helps to have players with pets. Anyways, you go out to Dathomir or Dantooine and do some missions that pay 10k-20k. I am a tailor and have done this a number of times. I earned 100k in only 2 trips, andI wasn't even there that long. PLUS, scouting those creatures out there gives you MONDO hide/meat/bone and TONS of Scout XP. Check it out. It's worth the risk.

Yeah - Jinda's are great. Just make sure you've got a group or lots of pets and droids. You can't solo them.

get a good sized group on yavin, all take missions in one direction, missions tend to spawn no more than 500M out 5k per mission, its fun and easy if you have enough people.

How hard are the dantooine missions? I am almost novice pistoleer.

Will,

Take a group with you. At least two or three others, preferably one being a Doc or Combat Medic.

They really aren't that bad if you have one of two things - a group, or a good tank pet. The regular bol missions pay about 7500-8000 credits. Bols are not aggro, but they do BAF. I'm at 0/0/3/1 pistoleer, and I solo these with a GSP. Send the pet to the first one, let it gain aggro, then fire away. The other two will jump on the pet, and won't target you as long as you let the pet get in the first damage. When the first dies, target another and have the pet attack. Kill that one, finish the third, then harvest away

The first time you hit the lair, three more will spawn.

The third spawn doesn't come until the lair is at half HAM or a little lower. Careful, as it's pretty easy to get charged from the first bol of the third spawn.

Make sure you take your trusty scout blaster with you - energy damage is better against these than acid or heat.

I have to agree with Glaza-X: Rori is a great place to hunt. Of course, now that the secret's out...

Anyway, you can collect more meat than you ever thought possible just by running around the outside of Restuss. Nightspiders (quick one-shot kills for a novice pistoleer) are all over the place, around 200m outside the city walls. Round-trip from Theed is 1300 credits, and you can easily net 5-10k worth of insect meat in a few hours. I shot through the Hunting line in less than a week, and I'm nearly done with Exploration now too.
