Thread: Rangers/Scouts need a better fishing method
You really can't collect enough fish in large enough quanties to make it worth while for the crafters that need the resource. I spent about a half hour fishing the other day and I gathered about 40 units of fish. So here are a few suggestions.
1. Fishing Net - use the same fishing system as you do now (maybe a few tweaks), but you can catch consideribly more fish per cast.
2. Fishing Traps - Crafted items like tents and traps. Set near the waters edge or in the water, can work like a mini havestor.
3. Depth Charge - let us just toss a few thermal denators into the water and just gather all the fish that float to the surface ![]()
But really, fish is really too hard to gather in some of the quanities that some crafters need.

Didn't notice it when I skimmed over it. Sorry. On a different note, DeltaXi65 have you gotten to play at the Dev's play house yet? You know that PA thing I remember reading about were the devs and corrispondents get together to talk about profession issues?
