Unfortunately I need to surrender ssome skills. Does exp4 only help when burs running and climbing mountains? If thats al then I could live with it. But does it make me move faster on regular ground?

The terrain negotiation modifier only works on non-flat terrain. So you'll only notice it going up hills. If you can take being the slowest thing on two legs up a hill, go ahead and drop it.

It's worthless, unless you plan to Master Scout, Squad Leader, or CH, or actually use maskscent, Exploration 4 is completely useless imo. Lowered burst run cost, ooooh, better maskscent, oooh. I've gotten around just fine without mask scent on high level problems, then again not enough spawns caus that of course. Explore 3 or Explore 1 is as high as you really should go, unless you need explore 4. And Terrain negotiation does not work only on non-flat terrain. It works when you're prone as well on any terrain. above 50 mind you. Hrm, I wonder if there's any terrain negotiation skill tapes.
