What should I be selling my hides for on the Bazaar? I read the guide and it said anywhere from 5 to 10. That seems a bit high, most resources go for 3 or less. Is anyone having luck moving hides at 5 to 10?

It depends upon the quality of the hides. You can easily sell good quality hides for as high as 20 cpu depending upon the demand and availability.

10cpu is the lowest I go for good quality hide sales. Crummy stuff for grinding does not get that much, obviously.

Remember, this pays for your time in gathering. It's more difficult to retrieve hide from vicious red-con creatures than it is to retrieve ore from your extractors, imho (despite maintenance costs on extractors).

Easiest way to move hide is to make contacts that need it, and sell directly. Bazaar sales are limited by the cost you can sell it at, and the fact that most that need it want stacks of at least 500 puts you at the upper edge of the bazaar sale limit.

Depends on the quality and how hard they are to get I suppose.

On FarStar the general rate for resources on the bazaar is 6cpu - 500 units for 3000cr, I occasionally dump crap on there for 3cpu, 1000 units for 3000cr, if it's mined/grown rather than having to be killed for and I want rid of it - tat fibreplast and lokian wheat are prime sellers for the medical grinders).

If I were you though, harvest herbivore meat rather than their hides if you can, good quality herbivore meat can be worth a fortune to doctors, especially if it's hard to get.

ok avian meat in high quality goes to master docs who want to make great buffs, dath and endorian hides go to arch because they need them to make tech furniture. pricing is based on how hard it is to get it and the supply at the time. like the previous person said find ppl who wany them and deal direct post a 1 item as a premium and include in the description what your pricing and etc is also get a vendor and post them there and macro in a public that you have the materials and maybe through trial and error you will figure out what to price it at. but remember it is a buyers market so prices flux like anyhting else. so be on top of it.

As resources go there is a marked difference between Organic and Inorganic. Yes, most resources like metal, gas, polymer goes for an average of 3-5 cpu. I find most Organic resources go for much higher though. Doctors make up one of the bigger markets for meats and such, while Tailors and Armorsmiths pay good for hide and bone. I've sold 600 OQ hide for 10cpu before, jsut to show what you really can get for the stuff.
