I'm new to the Scouting Profession, almost have all tier one boxes and I'm really loving it so far.
1. I read through a few of the threads and saw that Marbi was the armor of choice since it has good melee defense. What's the BEST armor for Scouting if you're sticking with Brawler as your attack? What's the BEST armor for Scouting if you're sticking with ranged attack?
2. Does the quality of the resources matter in terms of camps and traps?
3. The Exploration line, does that give us the ability to run FASTER? Or just normal speed up inclines?
Thanks for your help! This profession is proven to be very interesting!

i have found most people don't wear armor, it isn't worth the encumbrances. it allows you to move full speed up hills which is very very nice in many ways, it also reduces the cost for burst run

Grimm,
Marbari is better as a scout, period. Whether or not you are a brawler or a marksman, the creatures you are hunting are almost exclusively melee - they'll do kinetic damage, which means pick Mabari.
The information I've read on the Ranger boards leads me to believe that the better the recources, you will get XP slightly faster on camps, and you'll have a better to hit chance on traps.
Explore gives you the ability to run faster on all non-level terrain. Not any faster over regular ground.
