I noticed something today, not bad, but a bug?

How do you actually raise Exploration by looting/skinning items off corpses?

Isn't that skill supposed to be fore Explore missions? Is it bugged?

Is that why Explore Missions doesn't raise exp for Explore?

Read my guide to novice scouting, it should answer some of your questions. Here's the quick scoop though.

You gain "scout" XP (which is used for both the exploration and hunting lines) when you harvest animals or successfully use maskscent to sneak past a creature (but it is currently bugged).

The explore missions only give credits upon a successful completion. You can get Scout XP by harvesting the critters you kill from your hunting missions, but Reconmissions only give credits.
